Interests and Activities
During university I under took a Belbin Role report. My results indicated I was suited to a Plant and a Completer finisher. Advantages were being creative, imaginative, unorthodox, and solving difficult problems. Within group projects at University, I generally was voted to be the team leader, although this was not initially my given role. I took on the role when my colleagues voted for me to take over, and I was happy to becomethe backbone within the group. Where my team where failing to produce the work requested, I was able to keep the momentum by producing the work needed, and I feel I was dedicated to each project whilst keeping the group harmonious until we completed the projects on time. I practice Tae Kwon Do each week, this helps me to work within a group, developing new skills, like being focused and positive. I have volunteered at the Newbury Silver Surfers IT group. This is to help teach IT skills to the elderly who lack experience, and this allowed me to work with new people and improve my methods of teaching skills to others. I have also recently joined the Rotaract Club a group of young people who help to raise funds for local charities whilst socialising. I am interested in films and games, and keeping up to date with new methods within the industry. On occasion I also modify some games, for myself and the online community. I am always looking to improve and learn new skills. I am a quick learner in new software/techniques, and would love the opportunity to use my knowledge and love of animation in my future career. Animation is both my chosen career and my passion. Contact me if you require my showreel and demo DVD. |
